Recap
Aberdeen have it all to play for next week at Pittodrie after suffering a 2-0 away loss against HNK Rijeka this evening in Croatia.
Scott McKenna started for the Dons after the transfer carry-on this week. Niall McGinn and Ryan Hedges came into the team after being on the bench for the Hearts match on Sunday.
New recruit, Zak Vyner also made it onto the bench having signed for the Dons today.
Antonio Colak opened the scoring for Rijeka in the 62nd minute, after Shay Logan pulled down Luka Capan in the box – Colak score from the resultant spot kick.
Robert Muric hit the Dons with a hammer blow late into the second half after hammering a goal past Joe Lewis.
It leaves the Dons with it all to do at Pittodrie a week on Thursday, if we are to take anything from this tie and keep our European hopes alive.
