A message for Inverness Reds Aberdeen FC Supporters Club Members
As you will be aware, Aberdeen Football Club recently announced that partial crowds could return to Pittodrie by the start of October 2020.
Whilst encouraging, at this stage there has been no change in the Supporters Club being able to run any buses to matches before the end of 2020.
Even if we were to implement social distancing measures on the buses, this would limit the amount of people we can take on the bus and financially that would not be sustainable without a significant increase in fares.
Therefore, as it stands, unfortunately, it is still not our intention to run supporters buses for the remainder of 2020.
We will however review this if/when social distancing measures are relaxed and we will make every effort to get the supporters buses up and running as soon as practicably and safely as possible.
It is not our intention to ask members for their annual membership fees for the coming season and we will review this when we get an indication of being able to run buses and get back to games.
Meantime, if you haven’t done so already via the WhatsApp group, we would like you to email us to confirm your commitment to continue as members of the Supporters Club for next season – just drop an email to contact@invernessreds.co.uk with your details.
