Fans Led ‘Once A Don’ Fundraising Drive Raises £9,000
The fans led GoFundMe campaign setup after the coronavirus lockdown in April, ‘Once A Don‘ has raised £9,000.
The original aim of the fundraising campaign was to help towards a looming funding gap at the club following the outfall of coronavirus lockdown, which has seen fans locked out of games for six months.
One of the fundraisers, Carole Innes, confirmed today on Twitter that the fundraising campaign has ended and the money raised will go towards additional benefits to the AberDNA Junior initiative, offering free membership of the Club to every under 12.
We raised £9,000 and we’re now closing “Once a Don”. The Club is using this money for additional benefits to the AberDNA Junior initiative, offering free membership of the Club to every u-12 in the region. It’s all about building the next generation of the Red Army! Thanks all x
