Watch the Scottish League Cup Draw
Aberdeen will feature in the group stages of the Scottish League Cup following our 10th place finish in the Premiership last season.
The draw for the League Cup will take place tomorrow (Wednesday 25 May 2022) at 1pm.
This year, the north/south group stage split will be axed and all 40 teams will go into the draw for a chance to get into the last 16.
Celtic, Rangers, Hearts, Dundee Utd and Motherwell are absent until the second round of the League Cup due to their involvement in European competitions next season.

The group stages will be played on the following dates:
- Round 1 – Sat 9 / Sun 10 July 2022
- Round 2 – Tue 12 / Wed 13 July 2022
- Round 3 – Sat 16 / Sun 17 July 2022
- Round 4 – Tue 19 / Wed 20 July 2022
- Round 5 – Sat 23 / Sun 24 July 2022
