SPFL To Consult On Contingency Measures

The 42 SPFL member clubs will be consulted on what contingency measures will be implemented should there be another incomplete season due to coronavirus.

Following a meeting this morning, the clubs will be asked a series of questions regarding their views on titles, promotions and relegations in the event of the league being curtailed this season, as it was last season.

However, only if there is a consensus of similar opinion is it likely a formal ballot will take place.

The SPFL faced a series of challenges last season when measures were taken to end the league early.
