2020 will be a year we won’t forget.

We know, that for a lot of us, football has had to take a back seat for a while.

This past year has witnessed incalculable loss, from jobs to those that are no longer with us – we know it hasn’t been easy.

And whilst there is hope ahead, it feels just now, that we still have a few difficult months ahead.

We will ever be indebted to our National Health Service,  care workers and key workers who worked and continue to work tirelessly through the pandemic, and of course everyone involved with the community effort from Aberdeen FC Community Trust and other local charities.

We hope we’ve played our part, trying to keep a degree of normality on the football front.

We can’t but thank everyone who has contacted us on social media, through the Inverness Reds website and listened to the AFC DONScast – it’s our small contribution to the Dons family.

And, when it is safe to do so, it will be great to to be back together at Pittodrie.

Finally, ahead of the bells, we’d like to wish all our members, supporters and followers a Happy and Healthy New Year.   We can only hope for a better 2021.
