AFC Announce Operational Changes Due to COVID-19

Aberdeen Football Club have announce some operational changes in response to the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak.

From Wednesday 18 March 2020, the Club will be operating with a skeleton staff at Pittodrie, encouraging staff to work from home where possible. The Club Shop will be closed and we would again encourage fans who wish to purchase merchandise to use the online facilities by visiting afc.co.uk/shop.

The Ticket Office will be open, but operating on a skeleton staff and fans are encouraged to phone in or go online for any queries. Working closely with the Club will be AFC Community Trust which is currently assessing the best possible ways in which it can closely assist the wider community.

The Club has already implemented a number of proactive processes across the stadium and training ground aimed at minimising risks associated with Covid-19. This includes the temporary cancellation of training for all squads alongside the postponement of all planned player appearances and venue tours whilst also asking players to avoid interactions such as providing photographs or autographs for the time being.

The Club will continue to monitor the situation and follow advice from government, the Scottish FA and SPFL.

Aberdeen FC have urged all Dons supporters to heed the health advice, take care of one another and stay safe throughout these challenging times.
