Aberdeen FC Apply For Full Return of Supporters

Aberdeen FC Chairman, Dave Cormack has confirmed that Aberdeen have applied to Aberdeen City Council to have the stadium running at full capacity for our home games for the rest of the season.

Following the relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions in Scotland, the Scottish Government have allowed stadiums to have up to 5,000 supporters without authorisation, and for a short period clubs would have to submit for capacity beyond that.

The Chairman said: “With the lifting of most restrictions announced by the Scottish Government earlier this week, we have been working closely with Aberdeen City Council (ACC) and have submitted an application for full capacity for our home games for the rest of the season.

“We are hopeful of a positive decision tomorrow afternoon which will allow us to put tickets on sale online at 6pm tomorrow for the return leg of the Europa Conference League game against Breidablik on 12 August.”

Full ticketing details will follow once we have a final decision from ACC.
