Capacity Crowds Agreed for Pittodrie

Aberdeen Football Club will be allowed around 19,000 fans inside Pittodrie from next week.

Aberdeen City Council have approved the club’s latest application for increased attendances at the ground.

From Monday large scale events are allowed to return with the legal requirement of physical distancing lifted.

Face coverings are still required in crowded spaces.

The Dons may not be able to have a full stadium for their next leg against Breidablik in the Europa Conference League as UEFA require a larger “red zone” for substitutes and team officials.
