What a season!
It will go down as unique, a brief foray into Pittodrie last September for a few of us, is all we saw in person of our team, otherwise it was on tv or computer screen, smartphone or tablet.. Latterly that may have been a good thing!
But football isn’t football without the fans being there and we can only hope that come the start of next season, we are back in the stands singing, shouting and cheering on our team.
We’ve missed running the supporters buses, and catching up with you all – but all going well, we’ll be back up and running again for the 2021/22 season.
The pandemic has given us our own challenges, scaling back the website operation was a difficult decision – but given the circumstances we had no choice.
We can only but thank all our members by sticking by us, everyone who follows us on social media for being part of our season and a big thank you to the thousands of you who have downloaded the AFC DONScast throughout the season.
There is plenty of football on offer through the pre-season break and we’ll back to do it all over again from 22 July in the Europa Conference League and the League proper from 31 July.
