Stevie May has signed for St Johnstone, ending the long running saga between the two clubs.

Stevie has signed on a two year deal with the option of a further year having had is contract with Aberdeen cancelled.

A permanent deal collapsed earlier this summer when Aberdeen knocked back a loan offer from St Johnstone.

Dons manager Derek McInnes told the club website: “Stevie worked extremely hard and gave everything in his time with us. I wish him well in his next opportunity”
