Rail Disruption For Start of New Season

The Red Army using ScotRail services for the start of the new Premiership season between Inverness and Aberdeen should be reminded that there is still major track and signalling works taking place between Dyce and Inverurie.

This will also affect the UEFA Europa League Qualifier match against FC Chikhura Sachkhere on Thursday 1st August 2019 and also the third round qualifier should we progress, on Thursday 8th or 15th August 2019.

  • Saturday 15th June and Friday 9th August 2019 – buses replace trains between Huntly and Dyce;
  • Between Saturday 10th August and Monday 12th August 2019 – buses replace trains between Inverness and Aberdeen – additional express bus services will also operate from midday every two hours until 1800 in both directions;
  • Between Tuesday 13th August and Monday 19th August 2019 – buses replace trains between Huntly and Aberdeen;

From 10th August till 19th August – buses will also operate local services between Inverurie and Aberdeen, calling at Dyce.

A full service will resume on the line from Tuesday 20 August 2019.
