Liverpool Sign Calvin Ramsay in £7m Deal

Liverpool have signed Calvin Ramsay from Aberdeen in a deal worth up to £7m.

Aberdeen will secure an initial fee of £4.2m, with a further £2.5m of appearance and success based add-ons.

Aberdeen also hold a 20% sell-on clause.

It’s a deal that has substantially broken our transfer sales record.  It beats the previous record set for Scott McKenna when he moved to Nottingham Forest for what was reported at the time, £3m in September 2020.

Calvin was named  the Scottish Football Writers’ Young Player of the Year after playing 33 times last season for the Dons and has secured three under-21 caps for Scotland.

Calvin will travel to Liverpool for a medical later this week.
