Aberdeen have confirmed that they are “satisfied” with the SPFL compensation tribunal’s decision on the sum they must pay Hamilton for Lewis Ferguson.
The Dons offered £100k for the player, while Accies tried to recoup the monies from the fraud scam that they fell for last season and rated the player at £1.25million, and clearly with no agreement between the two parties, it was left to the SPFL to make a decision on the fee.
Aberdeen said in a statement on the club website: “Following on from the compensation tribunal’s award decision this afternoon the club are satisfied with the outcome having received a fair hearing.
“The details of the tribunal and award are confidential and accordingly it is not our intention to make any further comment in relation to this matter.”
