Jack MacKenzie Signs New Deal, Shay Moves To Hearts

After seven years at Aberdeen, Shay Logan will move to Hearts initially on loan.

The 33 year old is out of contract at Pittodrie this summer, the loan deal at Tynecastle will be until the end of the season with a permanent move being lined-up for next season.

Meanwhile, 20 year old Jack MacKenzie has extended his stay with Aberdeen, signing for a further two years at the club.

Jack who has been with the club since the age of nine, has come through the AFC Youth Academy and the SFA Performance School at Hazlehead.

He made his Dons first team debut against Dundee Utd on 20 March 2021.

Stephen Glass told the club website:  “Jack is a young prospect we are really excited about, so I’m pleased he has committed his future to the Club.

“Having made his debut against Dundee United, he must now build on that opportunity and put everything into his continued development.

“I’m looking forward to working with Jack as he looks to fulfil his potential and build his career at Pittodrie.”
