KEY SAFETY MESSAGE

For anyone intent on igniting and throwing pyrotechnic devices, please be aware that (as well as being illegal) these can cause medical issues within your own and other supporter’s areas.

Don’t agree to take any of these items into the ground. Please note if you are caught in possession (even at the check points) you can be arrested and charged.

Any damage caused to seating will cost AFC, and that includes, toilets and other fitments.

Incursions can happen due to over exuberance or intentionally and this can lead to a knock-on effect of others joining in. Whilst most of these are quickly recovered by Stewards and Police, any person who finds themselves on the track or the pitch is at risk of being arrested and charged with an offense which could lead to a football banning order/club ban or both.

So please do not enter the track or pitch area unless instructed to do so by a steward or police officer. Thank you

SEARCHING

Supporters should expect to be searched. Please note all bags will be searched. So don’t take a bag unless totally necessary to speed up entry.

There will be barriers set out away from the away turnstiles for ticket checks and searching before proceeding to the turnstiles. Please be guided by stewards and abide by any advice and instructions.

FLAGS

Flags are permitted if they confirm to the ground regulations and are in no way offensive. Generally, flags shouldn’t be larger than 1m squared. Surfing of flags should be prohibited. Flags must not be draped over advertising boards. It should be noted that the lower section will be pretty full, so there will limited or no space to lay flags out.

The size and type of banner or flag is at the discretion of the home club Safety Team.

GROUND REGULATIONS

No smoking of cigarettes or E-cigs is permitted in the seating area or concourses. Prolonged standing can become a safety problem. Please abide by any direction given by stewards.

Strictly no pyrotechnic devices to be taken to the game, ignited in any stand or to be thrown on to the pitch. No missiles or other objects should be thrown on to the pitch.

Both Clubs operate a zero‐tolerance policy regarding racism or sectarianism.
