Chris Forrester Joins Dons From Peterborough

Aberdeen have agreed a deal to sign Peterborough Utd midfielder Chris Forrester.

It is thought AFC have paid around £200k for the player.

Republic of Ireland squad player Forrester is Derek McInnes’ first major signing of the summer transfer window and has agreed a three-year deal.

Chris started his career at Bohemians and moved to League of Ireland side St Patrick’s Athletic before moving to England in 2015.

Derek McInnes commented, “‘We’ve been aware of him for a while and hopefully he sees Aberdeen as an opportunity to give impetus to his career. I’m delighted to welcome him to the club.”
