Changes to Stagecoach and First Services Across The Highlands, Moray, Aberdeen City and Shire

Stagecoach Highland / Bluebird and First Aberdeen have announced some temporary changes to bus services that will be introduced from Monday 30 March 2020.

A reduced timetable will operate across the region until further notice.  The timetables have been carefully created to ensure that critical routes are maintained wherever possible.

Stagecoach are offering free travel to NHS workers in the Inverness City area who need to get to or home from Raigmore Hospital and New Craigs Hospital between 7pm and 10pm.  The free dial-a-bus should be booked by NHS staff no later than the day prior to travle.  Information on how to book this services is available from highland.enquiries@stagecoachbus.com

Travel shops in Inverness, Aberdeen, Peterhead, Fraserburgh and Elgin are closed until further notice.

Timetables in operation from Monday 30 March 2020

Inverness Area

  • Special timetables in operation from Monday to Sunday, no services will operate after 1900;
  • Services 14, 16 and 17 will operate to a Saturday timetable daily from Monday – Saturday.  No Sunday services;
  • Services 4B, 9, 13, 21, 23, 24X, 28X, 30A/C, 61, 64 and 66 will not operate;

Inverness / Black Isle / Dingwall

Service 10 – Inverness – Aberdeen

Normal school holiday service with the below exceptions:

Caithness

Skye

  • Services will operate to the school holiday winter timetable.
  • Additional summer services due to begin from 30 March 2020 will not operate.

Orkney

  • Services are operating to a reduced timetable that was introduced from Thursday 26 March.
  • Additional summer services due to begin from 3 April 2020 will not operate.

The following temporary timetables have been introduced by Stagecoach Bluebird for Moray and Aberdeenshire:

First Aberdeen have started operating a Sunday service throughout their network from Thursday 26 March 2020:

  • Service 1runs every 20 minutes – download timetable;
  • Service 2 runs every 20 minutes – download timetable;
  • Service 1B will not operate;
  • Service 40 will operate every 60 minutes Monday to Sunday – download timetable;
  • Service 3 will operate every 30 minutes an extra journey has been added at 0615 from Mastrick from 30 March 2020 – download timetable;
  • Services 3A and 3B will not operate;
  • Service 8 will not operate;
  • Service 8A will operate Monday to Saturday – download timetable;
  • Service 9U will not operate;
  • Service 11 will operate every 30 minutes – download timetable;
  • Service 12 will operate every 30 minutes – download timetable;
  • Service 13 will operate every 30 minutes – download timetable;
  • Service 15 will operate every 30 minutes – download timetable;
  • Services 17, 18 and 18A will not operate;
  • Service 17A will operate every 20 minutes Monday to Sunday – download timetable;
  • Service 172 will operate every 30 minutes – download timetable;
  • Service 19 will operate every 30 minutes – download timetable;
