BBC Alba Goes HD

If you follow Scottish Premiership coverage on BBC Alba you’ll be pleased to know that it is now available in HD (high definition) on Virgin Media on channel 120 in Scotland and channel 161 in the rest of the UK.

Virgin is the first major platform to offer BBC Alba in HD, and will be followed by Sky satellite and Sky Glass customers, and new IPTV services that will be offered by BT and Virgin Media. later this year.

BBC Alba will also be made available in HD on BBC iPlayer.
