Aberdeen FC 22/23 Season Tickets go on sale
Aberdeen Football Club have announced their season ticket offering for the 22/23 season.
It will see season ticket prices frozen if purchased within the Price Freeze window (Friday 15 April 2022), interest free payment options over 4 and 6 months, the RDS Upper is re-opened for season ticket sales and a designated family area will be available in the RDS Upper Block 5.
AFC’s Commercial Director, Rob Wicks, said, “It has been great seeing supporters return to Pittodrie this season, their backing has been fantastic and we are grateful for the support.
“The introduction of the Red Shed in particular has brought energy to the stadium and has clearly appealed to a younger audience. We now have our highest number of U18 season ticket members on record.
“We are committed to growing the fan base and investment in our young fans is key. This is why all U18 prices areas will be lower than they were for 20/21 in the Price Freeze window.
“To encourage more families and younger supporters to join us as season ticket members, we are also introducing a dedicated family area in the Richard Donald Stand Upper. We’re looking forward to seeing that area filled with young season ticket members, AberDNA Junior members and groups attending for the first time.
“Every supporter will be able to take advantage of a price freeze ahead of 15th April and spread the cost over 4 or 6 months at 0% interest once again.”

*I want to spread the cost of my season ticket, what are the options?
We have once again partnered with V12 Season Ticket Finance to allow supporters the opportunity to spread the cost of their season ticket over 4,6 or 10 months.
4 MONTHLY PAYMENTS (no fee) – Sign up by 5pm on Friday 29th April and you will have the option to spread the cost of your season ticket over 4 months. No extra fees as the interest costs are covered by AFC.
6 MONTHLY PAYMENTS (no fee) – Sign up by pm on Friday 10th June and you will have the opportunity to spread the cost of your season ticket over 6 months. No extra fees as the interest costs are covered by AFC.
6 MONTHLY PAYMENTS (with £29 fee) – Sign up between Saturday 11th June and 5pm on Friday 30th September and you will have the opportunity to spread the cost of your season ticket over 6 months through V12 Season Ticket Finance with a £29 fee.
10 MONTHLY PAYMENTS (with £34 fee) – Sign up by 5pm on Friday 15th April and you will have to opportunity to spread the cost of your season ticket over 10 months through V12 Season Ticket Finance with a £34 fee.

How have prices been set for next season?
After freezing prices for the vast majority of supporters for four seasons in a row and reducing prices across several categories and areas of the stadium the average income per season ticket has reduced since 2018 by almost 10% and will likely still be lower this season.
Specifically, we have lowered prices in the Red Shed, proactively reduced costs for Under 18s and are committed to keeping prices as affordable as they can be for this group, allied with our AberDNA Junior programme which will remain in place for 22/23.
However, the club has sustained significant losses in the past couple of seasons due to Covid and, with rising costs on all fronts, we must look to maximise income where we can across all revenue streams including season tickets which is why a stadium wide price increase will apply in the Early Bird & Standard pricing windows.
Just as many prices have come down in recent seasons, some prices have been increased further in the best seats. We recognise that price increases are never welcome and instead of a straight increase across the board we wanted to give all supporters the opportunity to buy at the same price as previous seasons, hence the introduction of the Price Freeze window which we believe offers great value.
We would encourage as many supporters as possible to renew during this time to ensure they get the best possible price. The club will also once again be covering the interest costs on options to spread the cost over 4 or 6 months with no fees being passed on to supporters.

What happens if crowds are not allowed for a period of time, or I can’t gain access to matches due to partial capacity as a result of COVID-19 restrictions?
If partial capacity is required and the number of fans allowed to attend is lower than the number of Season Ticket Members, a ballot will be run amongst those who wish to be considered to attend.
At this time there is no agreement in place with the SPFL and our broadcast partners to permit virtual season ticket access beyond the end of the 2021/22 season in the event of crowd capacity being reduced again.
How do I claim my season ticket discount as an AberDNA member?
Existing AberDNA Member
Supporters who have already signed up to AberDNA will automatically have their discount applied when they add a season ticket to their basket online at afc.co.uk/eTickets.
Alternatively, you can call the Pittodrie Ticket Office (01224 63 1903) and we will process your season ticket discount for you.
Please note, by claiming the season ticket discount you are committed to renewing membership for the following 12 months if you have not done so already.
New AberDNA Member
Supporters who sign-up to the AberDNA Membership will receive a whole host of benefits including a season ticket discount of up to 15% which can equate to £65 in the Price Freeze window, U12 season ticket holders can save 50%!
In order to receive the AberDNA member discount when buying online supporters must sign-up to AberDNA in a separate transaction before purchasing a season ticket.
When the transaction has been processed and you are logged-in as an AberDNA member your season ticket discount will be applied when you add a season ticket to your basket.

How much do I save as a season ticket member?
Season tickets purchased in the earliest window offer the best value and that will remain the case as we look to build our season ticket member base over the coming seasons.
Season tickets in the Price Freeze period start from:
£17.37 per game for Adults
£14.21 per game for Over 65s
£9.47 per game for Youth (18-21) & Over 75s
£3.42 per game for Under 18s
£1.26 per game for Under 12s
The table below illustrates the difference in pricing per game against the other options that have been made available during the 21/22 season. After the end of the season the club will review the success of the 6 match package and make a decision on whether to continue with it for 22/23.
