Aberdeen Completes Signing of Matty Kennedy

Aberdeen have confirmed this evening (Friday 24 January 2020) the signing of Matty Kennedy from St Johnstone.

Matty will be joining the Dons this transfer windows after a fee was agreed with St Johnstone earlier today.

The winger had signed a pre-contract with the club but talks have been ongoing since to take him north in the January window instead of waiting to the summer.

Derek McInnes told the club website: “I’m pleased we managed to reach an agreement with St Johnstone to bring Matty to the club now.

“He is the type of player who can really help make the difference for us.”
