Aberdeen To Face Hibs in League Cup Semi-Finals at Hampden

Aberdeen will face Hibernian in the Scottish League Cup semi-finals at Hampden in November.

The other draw in the semi-final is between Hearts v Rangers

The matches will take place on the weekend of the 4th or 5th of November.

It follows our win against Ross County this evening (Wednesday 27 September 2023), a dominant display in Dingwall winning 2-1.

Graeme Shinnie’s struck volley opened the scoring before Ross County’ captain Jack Baldwin was shown a straight red for taking down Duk.

The score remained the same until Ester Sokler bagged his first Dons goal in the 80th minute (Aberdeen’s 8,400th goal in competitive football) as he got on the end of Leighton Clarkson’s pass.

A late penalty for tCounty was converted by Kyle Turner to make the final score 2-1 to the Dons.
