Aberdeen secure European football until at least Christmas

Aberdeen have secured European football next season until at least Christmas following Celtic’s victory in the Scottish Cup final against Inverness Caley Thistle this evening.

The Dons will go straight into the UEFA Europa League play-offs, and even if we lose those matches, we are guaranteed group stage football in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

The draw for the play-off round of qualifying for the Europa League will take place on Monday, 7th August 2023. The two-legged tie will then take place over two weeks on Thursday, 24th August and Thursday, 31st August.

The winner of that tie will then enter the group stages of the Europa League.
